Desolation Hike w/ Laura & Tilly
Over Labor Day weekend 2014 we headed out early Friday afternoon for a 3 day, 2 night hike in the Desolation Wilderness. Starting from Echo Lake, we hiked into Triangle Lake the first night. Neither of us had been there and were a little nervous because it was basically the only permit we could get that weekend. We were pleasantly surprised that we had the little lake to ourselves and were treated to an amazing sunset that evening.

The next day we hiked out and camped at Susie Lake. We did a side hike from there out to Half Moon lake, which we later wish we had camped at because we had to share Susie Lake with others who were not all that quiet.
